From Square Enix and Kotobukiya. The Ifrit sculpture, done in both opaque and semi-translucent portions, will stand 5 ¢ö tall. This is the FFVII incarnation of Ifrit, a reasonably devastating entity called upon by the Summoner class. The Ifrit is black-taloned and cloven-hoofed---though this version is much less overtly animalistic than the IfritÆs later versions. Malignant and devil-horned, the flame-breathing Ifrit advances through a spiraling column of red-orange fire. In the FFVII continuity, as with many others, the general idea was that you acquired the ability and then used the power to select Ifrit from a pantheon of summoned enemies like Shiva or Leviathan or even Bahamut. Once the spell was initiated, Ifrit would manifest, Satanic and horrible, and then either a singular opponent or a scatter of enemies would abruptly fall under the demonÆs baleful red shadow, scorched by IfritÆs incendiary power.
